Hi! I’m Artem Lygin, an interface designer from Vinnytsia, currently based in Kyiv, Ukraine.

I’ve been working in interface design since 2011, gaining experience across both project-based work and long-term product development.

Profession

Design for web

Since 2016, I’ve been working with Kitsoft, focusing on digital solutions for the Ukrainian government. During this time, I’ve contributed to key projects including websites for the Cabinet of Ministers, the Parliament, and Ukraine’s first Government Design System — built around the principles and practices we developed along the way.

UI&UX design

Worked at Joomag — a full-cycle platform for creating, distributing, and analyzing digital publications. There, I designed several complex web applications, including a CMS, email marketing tools, analytics dashboards, a web-based editor, and a publication viewer. Each of these required thoughtful UX and flexible UI patterns to support a wide range of user needs.

Product design

I also worked with a startup in the insurance sector, where we launched a mobile app that onboarded over 10,000 users and reached a 4.8-star rating on app stores. I was responsible for the full design cycle — from data analytics and prototyping to testing and UI/UX design.

Some key wins I’m proud of: I designed an onboarding flow with a 82% completion rate, and created a UI pattern that redirected user frustration into a feedback form instead of negative app store reviews. This approach helped us grow our rating from 2.8 to 4.8.
